The state of Alabama will provide a grant to assist with the construction of a permanent facility to teach electrical and electronic training.

Governor Robert Bentley says $50,000 will help upgrade the program currently offered at Bevill State Community College's Fayette campus.

The school is currently building a permanent facility for the program and the Appalachian Regional Commission will provide funding to purchase advanced training equipment.

Officials say the building will have a modern laboratory to provide students with the most up-to-date tools and techniques in the field.Online shopping for Sports & Outdoors at ccchinachic.com.Sports & Outdoor
